We are called to see faith as a gift and to continue to nurture that faith through reflection, prayer, involvement in community life, and works of service. Join us and nurture your own faith life and that of others in our parishes! Programming includes ongoing Bible study groups, Small Faith Groups, Lenten Reflection groups, the Women's Book Club, Marriage Preparation and the Rite of Christian Initiation, as well as the Advent and Lenten Reflection Booklets.

Adult Scripture StudyList Item 1
There are currently two Scripture discussion groups. One meets in-person on Tuesday mornings from 10:00am - 11:30am; the other meets via Zoom on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00pm. Each week we explore the readings for the upcoming Sunday. No previous experience with Scripture study is required; we all learn together! Meetings are offered on a drop-in basis; there is no requirement to commit to a series of meetings. New members are most welcome. Advent Reflection BookletList Item 2
This is an annual publication put together by parishioners prior to Advent. Participants are invited to study the Scripture readings for a given day in Advent and compose a brief reflection related to them. The Booklet coordinators collect, edit and publish the reflections so other parishioners can benefit from them during the pre-Christmas season.

Faith and Environment GroupList Item 4
This group provides a faith-based response to the moral challenge of climate change by leading prayer services, and offering educational films, speakers, and bulletin articles on caring for creation. In addition, the group works with the staff and parishioners to reduce the carbon footprint of our parishes.

Lenten Reflection Booklet
This is an annual publication put together by parishioners prior to Ash Wednesday. Participants are invited to study the Scripture readings for a given day in Lent and compose a brief reflection related to them. The Booklet coordinators collect, edit and publish the reflections so other parishioners can benefit from them during the forty days leading to Easter.

Marriage Preparation
Engaged couples should contact the Parish Office at least 6 months before their anticipated wedding date so that arrangements for Marriage Preparation can be made. Programs take different forms, but all aim to help couples talk about issues that may not have come up while they were dating, including finances, raising a family, chores, family backgrounds, conflict resolution, and gender roles. Marriage preparation programs also supply couples with proven strategies for overcoming tough times.
The pastor meets with engaged couples to discuss their wedding plans, the nature of the marriage commitment, building communication skills, sharing responsibilities, supporting each other's growth in self-knowledge and understanding, parenting skills, and the spirituality of marriage and family life.

Protecting God's Children Team
The purpose of the PGC Team is to educate our community about preventing the abuse of children and vulnerable adults. The team ensures that all clergy, parish staff and volunteers are fully trained in mandated reporting laws and the VIRTUS program, Protecting God’s Children®. Team members act as a resource to the parishes on issues of abuse and neglect, including consultation and support with regard to reporting.

Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA)
The RCIA program introduces people to the Catholic faith. The team works with those who hear God calling them to embrace the Catholic faith.. At the Easter Vigil, catechumens are initiated into the Catholic faith and already-baptized candidates receive the sacrament of Confirmation. The rites of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist are all celebrated on this most solemn night. Small Faith Groups
Small Faith Groups are assemblies of people who meet each week or month in the home of a facilitator. Members talk about their lives and experiences in light of the gospel. They may study a scriptural theme or discuss a book with the goal of deepening their way of life as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Membership is by invitation.

Women's Book Club
Women from both parishes meet together every month to explore and discuss a wide range of books, with a special focus on the spiritual aspects of each work. Begun in September of 2009, the first book selected was Fr. James Martin’s My Life with the Saints. The group currently has two facilitators who take turns leading the discussion; new members are most welcome!
