Group Description

We are a regional Catholic Young Adult Group that is sponsored by the Lexington Catholic Community (St. Brigid and Sacred Heart Parishes). This group is for people ages 20s, 30s, and college students, single or married, for the people of Lexington, the neighboring towns, and beyond.

Come join us at St Brigid Parish in Lexington for our Weekly Thursday Night Meetings. Weekly Thursday Night Meetings are a time of Faith Study/Discussion (7pm at St Brigid Parish) and then food and drinks at a local restaurant (8:15pm in Lexington Center walking distance from the church or in the Burlington Mall area). On some Thursdays we do a different activity like a video, a guest speaker, etc. We still have the social time (food/drinks) out somewhere like usual. We also have Adoration (a Holy Hour) on the 1st Tuesday of every month and Theology on Tap every 2nd Thursday of the month. Plus monthly events in the areas of spirituality, service, social, and Archdiocese.

Weekly Meetings: Every Thursday Evening.
Adoration (Holy Hour): 1st Tuesday of every month.
Theology on Tap: 2nd Thursday of every month (will return toward the end of fall).
Spiritual events include: lectures by guest speakers, prayer/adoration, forums/discussions, retreats, book club, and more.
Service events include: Habitat for Humanity, the food pantry, Helping Hands, service trips, charity collections and more.
Social events include: dinners, movies, hiking, playing sports, BBQs, snowboard/ski trips, parties, skating, fishing, and more.
Archdiocese events include: Young Adult Masses, forums, social events, the Eucharistic Congress, and more.

Our mission is based on the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Pastoral Plan for Young Adult Ministry which is to connect young adults to:

Jesus Christ
The Church, by inviting and welcoming their presence in the Christian Community
The mission of the Church in the world
A peer community in which their faith is nurtured and strengthened

So come and grow in your faith, help others in need, meet people, and have fun!
